Stay with us.

A hotel

The yellow house with its dark green shutters, nestled amidst old trees in a vast park, captivated us immediately.

We preserved the basic structure of the building from the 1890s:

It required restoration, renovation, exploration, and design. A transformation in which layers were peeled off, old ones revealed, and new ones added. Old wooden floors were uncovered, ceiling paintings discovered, and worn-out stair handrails were allowed to remain. Complemented by a blend of modern interiors and vintage furniture, high-quality textiles, and loving details, an interplay of old and new emerges. Here, you can make yourself comfortable and let your gaze wander over the greenery and across the lake.

The spacious, light-filled villa, the main building houses, not only, 13 rooms but also communal areas such as the reception, restaurant, bar, and library.

In the outhouse, which we call Waldhaus, at the northern end of the garden amidst lush greenery, you’ll find an additional 16 rooms. Here, you’ll also find our Honesty Bar with a small selection of snacks and beverages.

Within our six categories—Tiny, Attic, Cosy, Classic, Super, and the Maisonette Studio—each room is unique. From small to large. With a shower or bathtub, all with a view of the lake or the park. With sloping ceilings or a daybed, there’s something for everyone.

More details can be found on our Rooms page.
