THIS IS YOUR ROLE WITH US.
During your apprenticeship, you will be trained in various areas of the hotel, which will prepare you both professionally and personally for a successful career in the hotel industry. You will take on a variety of tasks: from guest service to administrative and organizational tasks. THIS IS WHAT YOUR ROLE WITH US LOOKS LIKE.
During your training as a chef, you will be introduced step by step to all areas of the kitchen and learn the basics of fine dining. Your tasks will begin with preparing ingredients, where you will learn to process fresh, seasonal and regional products professionally. This includes cutting, peeling and marinating vegetables, meat and fish as well as preparing basic dishes and side dishes.
During your apprenticeship, you will be actively involved in the preparation of dishes for our à la carte restaurant as well as for events and conferences. You will support the kitchen team in preparing the dishes and ensure that they are served in a visually appealing and high-quality manner. In addition to the day-to-day business, you will also learn how to plan and prepare for the breakfast buffet and special events.
Hygiene is also part of your training. You will be trained to keep the kitchen clean and store food correctly. You will also be gradually involved in menu planning, learn how to design menus and gain an insight into ordering and storing goods.
As the restaurant is also open to external guests, you will experience the exciting mix of hotel and public operations and learn how to respond flexibly and quickly to different guest requests. You will also gain an insight into working with the service staff to ensure that all dishes are served smoothly and on time.
